Obituary of Shirley Tucker

TUCKER, Shirley- Passed suddenly away at her residence on Thursday, November 30, 2006, Shirley Tucker of Burnt Point, age 67 years. Predeceased by husband: Lloyd; father: Absolam; brother: Gordon and brother-in-law: Graham. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Denise (Eddy) Oliver, North York, ON and Darlene (Douglas) Hopkins, Broad Cove; four grandchildren: Bradley, Ian, Danielle and Maxwell; mother: Elizabeth Pottle, Job's Cove; brothers-in-law: Warren (Gladys) Tucker, Carbonear, Alvin (Mildred) Tucker and John (Bertha) Tucker, both of St. John's; sisters-in-law: Elaine (Carl) Chipman, Brighton, ON and Linda Tucker, Mount Pearl; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay until 12:00 noon Sunday, December 3. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Calvary United Church and Cemetery, Burnt Point. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Calvary United Church, Burnt Point or to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund.
