WARFORD, Joan- Passed peacefully away after a short illness at Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Sunday, December 3, 2006, Joan Warford of Carbonear, age 58 years. Predeceased by husband: Woodrow; parents: Robert and Myrtle Moore. Leaving to mourn, husband: Lewis Peddle; two step-sons: Chad, Chamberlains and Todd, Grand Prairie, AB; three brothers: Albert, Fort Erie, On, Eric and Robert (Edna), both of Carbonear; also a large number of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Thursday, December 7. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
