PIKE, Yvonne- Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Thursday, December 7, 2006, Yvonne Pike of Salmon Cove, age 66 years. Predeceased by husband: Samuel Vaters; parents: James and Elizabeth White; sisters: Myrtle and Claire; brother: Hartley. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Correy (Dennis) Collins, Carbonear; four sons: Terry White, Salmon Cove, Arthur Pike, Manuels, Stanley Pike, Salmon Cove and Jarvis (Joanne) Pike, Kingston; two grandchildren: Jason and Dylan; three brothers: Thomas White and Eben (Rosalyn) White, both of Salmon Cove and Tobias (Margaret) White, Carbonear; sister: Hilda (Robert) Pike, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Monday, December 11. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Yvonne Pike Memorial Fund.
