KENNEDY, John William- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, January 10, 2007, John William Kennedy of Western Bay, age 92 years. Retired Teacher. Predeceased by wife, Marian; brothers: Angus and Malcolm; sisters: Grace and Cora; sister-in-law: Geneva. Leaving to mourn, one sister: Allison Temple, Long Cove; sisters-in-law: Mary Kennedy, Western Bay and Mildred Kennedy, Clarke's Beach; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, MAIN HIGHWAY, WESTERN BAY until 12:00 noon Friday, January 12. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church and Cemetery, Western Bay South. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to McDowell United Cemetery, Western Bay South.
