WHEADON, Gordon W.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, January 23, 2007, Gordon W. Wheadon of Western Bay, age 84 years. Predeceased by grandson: Patrick; brothers: Frazier and Norman; sisters: Martha, Rachael, Malinda and Elvie. Leaving to mourn, wife: Annie; two daughters: Shirley (Rendell) Baggs, Adams Cove and Ena (James) Roberts, Foxtrap; three sons: Nicholas and Patrick (Pauline), both of Western Bay and Gordon (Linda), Foxtrap; fourteen grandchildren: Wendy (Roger), Henry, Bonnie (Todd), Karen, Cindy, Kenneth (Maureen), Tony, David (Mandy), Shirley Ann (Jason), Patricia, Wanda (Brady), Gordie (Tammy), Nicholas and Amanda; eleven great-grandchildren: Lynn, Bruce, Michael, Matthew, Monica, Patrick, Chelsey, Austin, Jessie Lynn, Crystal and JJ.; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay until 12:00 noon Friday, January 26. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church and Cemetery, Western Bay North. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund.
