EMBERLEY, Gordon - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, December 2, 2010, Gordon Emberley of Bay de Verde, age 67 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Mary Ann Emberley; sister-in-law: Bonita Emberley; brother-in-law: Norman Blythe. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Tracey (Cam) Wicks, Ontario; two granddaughters: Melissa and Summer; five brothers: William (Genevieve 'Jen'), Bay de Verde, James, Harry (Marilyn), Don (Bridget) and Carl (Donna), all of Ontario; one sister: Rose Blythe, Ontario; Gordon's close friend: Rose Lockyear and her sons: Craig and Tony; Craig's children who were like grandchildren: Nathan and Madison; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service and inurnment to be held at a later date in Ontario. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Arthritis Society.
