CHIPMAN, Jessie - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, Jessie Chipman of Harbour Grace, age 83 years. Predeceased by daughter: Alice Penney; granddaughter: Kimberly Alcock; parents: Norman and Minnie; step-mother and aunt: Alice Parsons; brother: Theodore Parsons; sisters: Rose Bryant and Margaret Hunt. Leaving to mourn, husband: Harvey; son-in-law: Richard Penney; five grandchildren: Ethel, Bonny, John, Rick and Beverley; twelve great-grandchildren: Penni, Benny, Megan, Cody, Crystal, Tiffany, Evan, Shayne, Rikki, Steven, Sarah and Ryan; one sister: Catherine Taylor; brother-in-law: Arthur Chipman; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace until 12:00 noon Thursday, February 1. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
