Obituary of Eric Chubbs

CHUBBS, Eric Ian - Passed peacefully away at his residence on Friday, February 9, 2007, Eric Ian Chubbs of Carbonear, age 61 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Clarice; mother-in-law: Myrtle Anderson. Leaving to mourn, wife: Marie; two sons: Peter (Elizabeth) and Adam, both of Iqaluit, Nunavut; one brother: Douglas (Judy), St. John's; uncle: Leslie (Nita) Chubbs, Carbonear; aunt: Ruby Laing, Carbonear; father-in-law: John Anderson, Harbour Grace; sisters-in-law: Linda (Wayne) Somerville, Ajax, ON, Iris (Roland) Carter, Harbour Grace, Joanne (William) Haire, Ajax, ON and Janine (Brian) Smith, Brampton, ON; brothers-in-law: Jim (Johanna) Anderson, Kitchener, ON, Douglas (Peggy) Anderson, Grand Falls, Leeland (Eileen) Anderson, Carbonear, John (Bride) Anderson, Harbour Grace, Terry (Lisa) Anderson, Carbonear and Elvis (Zoe) Anderson, Harbour Grace; dear and close friends: Bill and Audrey Engram, Herman and Jeanette Walters, Aubrey and Pat Dawe, Lon and Vennie Wareham, all of Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Sunday, February 11. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church Restoration Fund or to 589 Carbonear Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
