MILLEY, Ida Dorothy- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, February 23, 2007, Ida Dorothy Milley of Burnt Point, age 84 years. Predeceased by husband: Elijah Pickering; daughter: Dorothy Joan; son: Elijah Malcolm; sisters: Edith Wicks and Bessie Milley; brothers: Harold Milley, Simeon Milley and Chesley Milley. Leaving to mourn, one son: Eric (Linda), Lewisporte; two grandchildren: Courtenay (Anne Marie) and Amanda-Lynn; one brother: Llewellyn Milley, Oxford, Pennsylvania, USA; brothers-in-law: Thomas (Susie) Milley and Mervin (Margaret) Milley, both of Burnt Point; sisters-in-law: Irene Milley, Jessie Tucker and Jane George, all of Burnt Point, Marion (Sam) Sharpe, Toronto, Ontario, Hazel Milley, St. John's and Audrey Milley, Toronto, Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday, February 25 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Then resting at Calvary United Church, Burnt Point on Monday, February 26 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Tuesday, February 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from where the funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Calvary United Cemetery, Burnt Point. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Calvary United Church.
