Obituary of Mildred G. Slade

SLADE, Mildred G.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, March 4, 2007, Mildred G. Slade of Salmon Cove, age 77 years. Predeceased by husband: Roy W.; daughters; Sharon and Peggy; grandson: Tyler; great-grandchildren: Devon and Brandon; parents: Charles and Elizabeth Fost; brothers: Arthur, Frederick and James. Leaving to mourn: three daughters: Jackie (Calvin) Chubbs, Salmon Cove, Miranda Slade, Kitchener, ON and Renee (Wayne) Kelloway, Salmon Cove; two sons: Leslie (Linda) and Wade; both of Salmon Cove; son-in-law: Richard Gear, Mount Pearl; thirteen grandchildren: Collette (Robert), Colleen (Jim), Tony, Lisa (Terry), Robert (Rhonda), Chuck (Chantelle), Michael, Chantelle, Shannon, Roy (Christa), Wade Jr. (Jennifer), Shawn and Judy; five great-grandchildren; one brother: Hedley Fost, Heart's Delight; two sisters: Hilda Mayo, Heart's Delight and Florence (Joseph) Hopkins, Green's Harbour; sister-in-law: Rhoda Fost, Heart's Delight; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Wednesday, March 7. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the ALS Society.
