PIERCEY, Arthur C.- Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, Arthur C. Piercey of Heart's Content, age 58 years. Retired Teacher. Predeceased by father: Arthur A.; infant brother: Roy; parents-in-law: John R. and Audrey Hillyard. Leaving to mourn, wife: Jacqueline; five daughters: Tara (David) Vatcher, Airdrie, AB, Laura Lee (Adam) Smith, Listowel, ON, Diana Piercey (Phillip McDonald), Mount Pearl, Gail (Roger) Eddy, Victoria and Emily Piercey (Chris Button), Old Perlican; eight grandchildren: John, Benjamin and Bailey Vatcher, Matthew, Alexis and Samantha Piercey, Hannah and Noah Eddy; mother: Annie Piercey, Heart's Content; two brothers-in-law: Wayne (Karen) Hillyard and Doug Hillyard (Shirley); both of St. John's; sisters-in-law: Marilyn (Richard) Pynn and Lynn (Robert) Ryan, both of St. John's and Jackie Hillyard, Truro, NS; a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Heart's Content after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and until 12:00 noon Friday. Funeral service will take place on Friday, March 9 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery, Heart's Content.
