CLARKE, John E. - Passed peacefully away at his residence on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, John E. Clarke of Victoria, age 90 years. Predeceased by wife: Nina; sisters: Elsie Clarke and Annie Hobbs. Leaving to mourn, son: Johnny, St. John's; brother: Albert Clarke, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, March 8 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Friday, March 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
