WALTERS, Edith L.- Passed peacefully away at Hoyles Escasoni Complex, St. John's on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, Edith L. Walters of Carbonear, age 95 years. Predeceased by husband: Gordon; daughter: Jean; sisters: Hilda, Elsie and Mabel; brother: Benjamin. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Sandra Ash, Paradise; two sons: Ray (Gwen), Toronto, ON and Wayne (Elaine), Paradise; seven grandchildren: Krista (Christian), Stephen, Brian, Jeff, Dwayne (Jennifer), Renee (James) and Deanne (Wayne); five great-grandchildren: Noah, Jordan, Hannah, Jasmyn and Zackary; one brother: Chesley (Dora) Noel, Toronto, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours by request of the family Thursday, March 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, March 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to follow on Friday at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
