Obituary of James 'Jim' Walsh

WALSH, James 'Jim' - Passed peacefully away at his home in Gander on March 20, 2007 after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, James 'Jim' Walsh, age 58 years. Leaving with loving memories his devoted wife Anna, sons Barry and daughter Nyssa of Grandfalls, NB, James Jr. 'Jamie' and wife Beulah of Torbay, sister Stella Marie (Reg) of St. John's, brother Walter (Pauline) of Harbour Grace; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Stacey's Funeral Home, Gander on Wednesday, March 21 and Thursday, March 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Gander. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Saturday, March 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Inurnment to take place on Sunday, March 25 at 2:30 p.m. from the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
