SHEPPARD, Walter R.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, March 24, 2007, Walter R. Sheppard of Harbour Grace, age 70 years. Predeceased by wife: Shirley; one infant son and two infant daughters; parents: Walter and Stella; sister: Dorothy. Leaving to mourn three daughters: Kathleen Sheppard, Harbour Grace, Michelle (Nial) Hopkins, Tilton and Charmaine (Joseph) Thistle, Harbour Grace; three sons: Derek and Chad (Bilee-Lyn), both of Harbour Grace and Lonzel, Foxtrap; ten grandchildren: Carlson, Stephanie, Nicholas, Bradley, Michelle, Nakita, Kristen, Brendan, Kian and Savannah; one great-grandchild: Zachary; three brothers: Leroy Sheppard and Gordon (Kay) Sheppard, both of Harbour Grace and Raymond (Penney) Sheppard, Guelph, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace until 12:00 noon Tuesday, March 27. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Walter R. Sheppard Memorial Fund.
