FORWARD, Emma Julia - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, April 20, 2007, Emma Julia Forward of Carbonear, age 77 years. Predeceased by husband: Gordon Forward; son: Clarence Forward; parents: William and Julia Parsons; sisters: Clara Penney and Jean Butt; brothers: Richard and Ernest Parsons. Leaving to mourn, common-law husband: Ernest E. Penney; one daughter: Ethel (Jim) Harris, Carbonear; two sons: Bill (Winnie) Forward, Goose Bay and Kevin (Aggie) Forward, Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Gloria Forward, Carbonear; six grandchildren: Jimmy (Robyn), Scott, Tracy (Christopher), Bill, Cindy (Brian) and Gordon (Trish); two great-grandchildren: Jayden and Justin James; one sister: Bessie (Clyde) Evely, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Muriel Parsons and Winnie Parsons, both of Carbonear; special friends: Debbie Penney and Chris O'Keefe; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Tuesday, April 24. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Bethany United Church.
