BUTT, Beatrice Mae- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, Beatrice Mae Butt of Broad Cove, age 99 years. Predeceased by husband: Moses, 1961; daughter: Audrey Knight, 2006; grandson: David Butt; great-grandchildren: Lisa Butt and Megan Butt; sisters: Violet Wareham, Hilda Snow and Stella White. Leaving to mourn, one son: John (Nina), Broad Cove; son-in-law: Walter Knight, Pouch Cove; grandchildren: Garry (Margie) Knight, Gerald (Winnie) Butt, Glenn (Diane) Knight, Darryl (Beverley) Butt, Dorothy (Matthew) Slade and Roger Butt; great-grandchildren: Kevin (Paulette), Paul, Stefanie (Mark), Kristina (Danny), Bonnie (Stephen), Billy and Jessica (Blair); great-great-grandchildren: Kendra and Hannah; sister: Myrtle Slade, Salmon Cove; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay until 12:00 noon Thursday, May 10. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Interment in the United Cemetery, Blackhead. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Ocean View United Church Trustee Board, Broad Cove.
