SUTTON, Emmanuel- Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Monday, May 14, 2007, Emmanuel Sutton of Victoria, age 92 years. Predeceased by wife of 72 years Laura April 12, 2007; parents: James and Emma Sutton; brothers: Ernest, Charles, William, Albert and Herber; sisters: Mary, Hilda, Ethel and Willimena. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Emma (Joseph) Noel, Carbonear and Mary (John) Swanton, Atkinson, NH; three sons: Clyde (Daphne), Grand Falls-Windsor, Hayward (Sheila), Abbotsford, BC and Manuel Jr. (Mary), Victoria; thirteen grandchildren: Clyde Jr., Fay, Kelly Lynn, Chris, William, James, Dawn, Kerry, Shona, Danny, Lori and Jeff; twenty-five great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Gladys Sutton, Corner Brook and Marguerite Sutton, Stephenville; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Thursday, May 17. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the United Church, Victoria.
