JACOBS, Frederick C.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, May 17, 2007, Frederick C. Jacobs of Ochre Pit Cove, age 65 years. Predeceased by parents: Everett and Maude; brother: John; sister: Audrey; sister-in-law: Millicent. Leaving to mourn: common-law wife: Catherine Fitzgibbons; five brothers: Reginald (Etta), Toronto, ON, Grayson, Western Bay, Ray (Olga), St. John's, James (Violet), Ochre Pit Cove and Frank (Delores), Ochre Pit Cove; brother-in-law: Simeon Sellars, Ochre Pit Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay until 12:00 noon Sunday, May 20. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Ochre Pit Cove. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance.
