SLADE, Victor L. - Passed suddenly away at Carbonear on Friday, February 18, 2011, Victor L. Slade of Carbonear, age 52 years. Predeceased by parents: Tobias and Elsie; brothers: Kenneth and Ronald; sister-in-law: Wendy. Leaving to mourn, wife: Barbara; four brothers: Harry (Sandra), St. John's, Roy (Laura Beth), Mississauga, ON, Harold (Tina), Brooks, AB and Bobby (Debbie), Carbonear; sister-in-law: Corine Clarke, St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, February 22 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay South. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Victor Slade Memorial Fund.
