To: The Green family and extended families: The Town of Victoria is sadden to hear of Wally's passing. I have known Wally for many years and found him to be a friendly and humble person. Wally did a lot of work for the Town of Victoria as a surveyor and inspector on many of our infrastructure projects. Wally was always at the top of the scale at the work he did and always looked out for the Towns best interest. I hope it will be of some comfort to know that others are thinking of you and share in your loss at this sad time. On behalf of Council Staff and Citizens of Victoria I express our sincere condolences to you and pray that God will be with you and comfort you during this most difficult time.

to the Green family Sorry to hear the sad news off the passing of your dad ,I did not know him personally but my late husband Wayne had the pleasure of working with him, all I heard Wayne say was what a wonderful man to work with and always enjoyed there conversation when ever they met, always had a smile, my niece Amanda really enjoyed getting ready to go to work at his home and spoke so highly of Wally. He will be missed by so many people that knew Wally for who he was. My prayers are with the family at this sad occassion. May he R.I.P.

Shelley, Lisa & The Green Family...What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why God took our loved one before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that he died, but that he lived and that his life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. Shelley, Your dad finally has his wish. He is now flying with your Mom with the angels.....You are all close in our hearts and in our prayers! CIBC Staff, Carbonear

Deb, Shelley, Cindy, Lisa and Wally (& families), Please accept our deepest regrets in the loss of your Father. I know you have accumulated lots of funny moments and witty sayings over the years to keep laughter in your hearts for a long, long time. We have many fond memories of Gator ourselves… Like the time he cooked the seal flippers and had the tanners hanging out over the pot. Or the time we put up a new fence and he couldn’t see over any more so he would come to the fence and call out to Mr. Wilson. He looked after our corner of Evely's Lane and did it well---he spent endless hours sweeping the road. He was like a Godfather to all our children who hung out there --- always ensuring they had a safe area to play. Every Spring he would paint our Lane with 'children playing'. You could never beat him at Trivial Pursuit - he was the smartest man; he knew every answer - seriously. Gator always had a yarn and always managed to make you laugh out loud. Feel comforted that he and your Mother are walking hand in hand today and in the back of his mind he's trying to figure out a way to get her purse. We're thinking of you all. Love Wayne & Gwen, Bobby and KT, Red Deer, Alberta
