To; The Butt and Morey families; The town of Victoria is sadden to hear of Mrs. Morey's passing, Victoria's oldest citizen. The first time I met Mrs. Morey was on the occasion of her Ninety-fifth birthday, when I presented her with a certificate on behalf of the town of Victoria commemorating this milestone in her life. After talking to her and Olive it wasn't hard to understand why she was held at such high esteem by her family and friends. I hope it will be of some comfort to know that others are thinking of you and share in your loss. On behalf of Council, Staff and Citizens of Victoria I express our sincere condolences to you and pray that God will be with you and comfort you during this most difficult time.
