To Mollie's Grandchildren and their families: I just heard of Mollie's passing and felt very saddened. Although you guys may not know me, I had heard of you [Gary, Denise and Darlene] through Mollie. Its been quite a few years since I saw her, but she is the kind of lady that fills your heart with memories and flowers. Since visiting her as a little girl, it's where I saw her and Ap cooking fish in the stove [I thought she was throwing it away] and where I first drank goat's milk [today I love my goat's cheese] and to all the times she showed us [my mom and my sister, Maxine] her flowers. Mom also loved flowers and they would forever compare a geranium and cross breed them to get that special bloom that nobody else had. The flower that was and still is most precious to me, was the Boys Love - she gave me so many slips of it. It was planted outside her kitchen window and when I got upon the daybed I would always check it out. Back then, each and every visit, we did a walk around the house and she would always stop and touch the flowers and smell the Boys Love. I have one in my garden today and its because of her and every time I look at it ---its Mollie that comes to mind. My mom and dad were Belle [Whiteway] and Ike Royle from Job's Cove. Mom passed away on Mar. 18, 1978 and dad passed away on Mar. 18, 2006, [same day, many years apart]. Although it's a very sad time when our loved ones passes away, may all the memories you share and stories you tell help ease the pain that you feel today and give you strength to smile again soon. Both myself and my husband Dave, who also shares many delightful memories of our visits to Ap and Mollie's house [i.e. a little visit to the shed with Ap] in our younger years, offers our sincere condolences. May all your memories forever keep your loved ones close to your heart. God Bless and take care. Dave and Marie Royle Snow.

Denise, Darlene & families, My heart was deeply saddened this morning when I learned of Aunt Molly's passing. Our families have been connected for a lifetime & the years of my youth holds many beautiful memories. We always called them Aunt Molly & Uncle Ab; most every Sunday they came for a visit. During the summer & fall, we went berry picking together & shared our lunch together. I still have the broach that Uncle Ab gave me; I think it might have been for my birthday. There were Christmas gifts of nylons for us 3 girls the years that we attended high school. My parents must have appreciated those thoughtful gifts; it wasn't always easy to make ends meet. Aunt Molly always had lots of flowers both inside & out. Around her home there were pots of geraniums, ferns, & I remember one that if you pressed on it's leaves, you got a lemon smell. Outside, around her home, there were lots of Marigolds, boyslove, pansies, nasturtiums, for-get-me-nots, & dahlias just to mention a few. I took my youngest son to visit her one summer & he has never forgotten that visit. He stills speaks of her & her little house. He had to duck to get in & that stayed with him. He would certainly have to duck today; Phillip is 6ft. 6in. I loved to listen to their speech. We lived near in the sense of next community but they had their own dialect. I know that you have many beautiful memories of her,as well. Cherish them & in the days ahead, look on them & find the love that you shared. Hold them close to your heart & find that in your memories, she will live on. It is never easy to loose someone we hold dear, but with time the intense pain eases, & we can think of her without tears. May God give you strength for these difficult days. With Deepest Sympathy, Judy

To the Pottle family - Denise, Darlene and their families - Lynn and I were so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I thought the world of her. She was my favourite aunt. I remember all the times my family used to go down to Newfoundland for summer vacation & how many happy times I had visiting her and Uncle Ab. Thankfully, we got down there several years ago and was able to introduce her to my wife Lynn. With Deepest Sympathy Lynn & Jim Boult
