LAYMAN, Patrick 'Jamie' - Passed tragically away at Bears Cove doing what he loved on the water on Sunday, June 19, 2011, Patrick 'Jamie' Layman of Ochre Pit Cove, age 50 years. Past RNC officer and Heavy Equipment Operator. Predeceased by grandparents: Michael and Angela Layman and Bruce and Ivy Park; father-in-law: Raymond King. Leaving to mourn, wife: Kimberley; one daughter: Stephanie, Ochre Pit Cove; three sons: Gregory (Sara), Paradise, Steven, St. John's and Patrick, Ochre Pit Cove; parents: Patrick and June Layman, Ochre Pit Cove; three brothers: Bruce (Jen), Ochre Pit Cove, Danny (Trina), Ontario and John (Michelle), Old Perlican; best friend: Robert (Collette) Oliver, Mount Pearl; mother-in-law: Barbara King, St. John's; sisters-in-law: Lisa Wickens (Jimmy), Mount Pearl and Barbara Michelle (Bernie) Hennessey, Maddox Cove; brother-in-law: Raymond (Kim) King, Mount Pearl; grandmother-in-law: Evelyn Marsh, St. John's; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay with visitation hours by request of the family on Tuesday, June 21, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday, June 22, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, June 23, 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, June 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Patrick 'Jamie' Layman Memorial Fund.
