Obituary of Sybil Gertrude Howell

HOWELL, Sybil Gertrude - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, Sybil Gertrude Howell of Carbonear, age 67 years. Predeceased by parents: Harry and Janet; brother: Thomas. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Pamela MacLellan (Kevin), St. John's; two grandchildren: Mark and Jacob; one great-granddaughter: Kenna; one brother: Kenneth (Cathy) Howell, Nova Scotia; six sisters: Isabelle (Howard) Worthman, Heart's Delight, June (Rayfield) Dalley, Carbonear, Claudette Priddle, Carbonear, Janet (James) Tetford, PEI, Harriet Short and Maxine Clarke, both of Carbonear; also number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, July 2 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Sybil Gertrude Howell Memorial Fund. Visitation hours by request of the family are Thursday, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
