IT IS WITH GRATITUDE AND THANKSGIVING WE REMEMBER AUNT EVELYN. EVELYN WAS A VERY IMPORTANT PART OF OUR LIVES, AS WE LIVED NEXT DOOR TO EACH OTHER FOR MANY YEARS, SHE WAS LIKE A SECOND MOTHER TO US SHE WAS A VERY KIND, LOVING PERSON. WHO EXTENDED HER HOSPITALITY TO ALL. AUNT EVELYN WAS A WONDERFUL HOMEMAKER, COOK, AND BAKER. HER COOKIES ESPECIALLY HOLD FOND MEMORIES. THEY WERE ALWAYS IN ABUNDANCE AND THE VARIETY WAS AMAZING. SHE TOOK GREAT PRIDE IN HAVING A FULL LARDER OF SWEETS. EVERYONE WAS WELCOME IN HER HOME. WE HAD SOME WONDERFUL MOMENTS WHICH WE WILL NEVER FORGET. ALTHOUGH WE CANNOT BE WITH ALL OF YOU TODAY, WE WILL BE THINKING OF HER AND SHE WILL BE IN IN OUR PRAYERS. Shirley Taylor Rind Pauline Penney Katarina Rind Juergen Rind

So sorry hear of Aunt Evelyn's passing. I have many fond memories of both Evelyn & Bob. She & my nan, "Doll" were great pals & I spent many an hour as a child at Evelyn's. Her cookies were the best! RIP Aunt Evelyn.

It is with mixed emotions that I write this. While it is always sad to lose a loved one, especially one so caring and loving as Aunt Evelyn, I think of her as she lived out her last days. I truly feel and believe she is in a far better place. I will always cherish the Sunday visits to Bristols Hope and the big smile she always greeted mom and us kids with. Even when I visited with my own children, she always lit up "like a Christmas tree" when she saw us coming. Cheryl & I, along with Cara and Mark and their families, were so saddened to learn of her illness some years ago, and these last few days we mourn with grateful hearts for having her in our lives. She has indeed been a blessing. Rest in peace, Aunt Evelyn. We will miss you but will always remember you.

I am saddened by our loss of Aunt Evelyn, but I remember her for who she really was and what made her so dear to everyone. She was a loving and caring person, who loved to laugh and have fun; she worked hard and took really good care of you whether you were family or not. She was a good wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend; she made everyone welcome in her home whether she knew you for years or just met you. And if by chance you left her house hungry, it certainly wasn't her fault!:) I could say many more wonderful things about Aunt Evelyn, but will try to sum them all up in this way - If we are among the most fortunate who find and have good people in our lives, and if by more good fortune, those people are also members of our family, we are indeed blessed! Aunt Evelyn was one of those good people; and so we say thank you to God for Aunt Evelyn and thank you Aunt Evelyn for being you! You will be missed, but not forgotten!
