KENNEDY, Mary Ann - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Thursday, September 13, 2012, Mary Ann Kennedy of Western Bay, age 86 years. Predeceased by husband: Angus; father: Jabez; mother: Mary Ann; step-mother: Florence; sisters: Melina, Beatrice and Effie; half-sister: Jean; half-brother: Edward. Leaving to mourn, son: Fred (Linda), Western Bay; two grandsons: Barry (Angie) and Jason (Yvonne); four great-grandchildren: Hailey, Jaden, Cody and Lucas; sister: Hattie Milley, Luxury Estates, Carbonear; half-sisters: Mildred (Boyd) Wheadon and Florence (Morley) Button, both of Western Bay; half-brothers: Kenneth (Hilda) Sellars, Old Perlican and Joseph (Leona) Sellars, Western Bay; sister-in-law: Allison Temple, Long Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Saturday from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay South. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
