Obituary of Mary Isabel McCarthy

MCCARTHY, Mary Isabel. - Passed peacefully at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, December 20, 2014, Mary Isabel McCarthy of Red Head Cove in her 74th year. Predeceased by her son, Thomas McCarthy, parents: Charlotte and Thomas Rice. Leaving to mourn, her beloved children: Rita and husband Adolfo, Dennis and wife Connie; grandkids: Thomas Jagger, Lola, Madeline, Adolfo and Aaron; sister: Helen; brothers: Robert, Brendan, Joseph and Edmund and all her extended family and friends. Special thanks to all the staff at the Carbonear General Hospital for their care and compassion during her time there. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at Noel’s Funeral Home in Western Bay on December 23rd from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a service of remembrance to follow at 8:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted.
