SHORTT, Marie G. - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, Marie G. Shortt of Kingston, age 93 years. Predeceased by husband: Jack in 1995 and brothers and sisters. Leaving to mourn, three sons: Richard (Judy), Holyrood, Donald (Evelyn), Kingston and Jack (Deena), St. John’s; nine grandchildren: Janice, Marie, Debbie, Cindy, David, Leona, Tina, Jacqueline and Amy; nine great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday, December 26th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Saturday, December 27 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Kingston. Interment in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kingston. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Kingston c/o Corpus Christi Parish, P.O. Box 79, Northern Bay, NL, A0A 3B0.
