SNOW, Winnie Clarke - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, Winnie Clarke Snow of Victoria, age 52 years. Predeceased by parents: John William and Emma Bell Clarke; brother: George Vaters. Leaving to mourn, five brothers: Wallace (Linda) Clarke, Western Bay, Gabriel Clarke, Bridgewater, NS Ronald (Maxine) Clarke, John (Beverley) Clarke and Leonard (Lisa) Clarke, all of Lunenburg, NS; seven sisters: Emmie Clarke, Lunenburg, NS, Dorothy (Jay) Bragg, Gladys Clarke and Pauline (Stanley) Janes, all of Bridgewater, NS, Leona Heath, Carbonear, Marion (Hartley Slade), Victoria and Dale Potter (Carter Tanner), Bridgewater, NS; special cousin: Evelyn 'Nancy' Clarke, Victoria; also a number of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to be held in Lunenburg, NS at a later date. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Winnie Clarke Snow Memorial Fund.
