Obituary of Thomas Allan Curnew

CURNEW, Thomas Allan - Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton, ON, due to complications arising from his ongoing battle with a brain tumour. Thomas was 8 years of age. Very beloved son of Bonnie (Coates) and Allan, big brother of James. Thomas was proud to be a grade 3 student at École Élémentaire Michaëlle Jean in Binbrook, ON; also left to mourn grandparents: Wilfred and Rebecca Coates (Happy Valley-Goose Bay) and a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins as well as other relatives and friends. Predeceased by grandparents: William and Nina Curnew. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation on Tuesday, February 10th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, February 11th at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. Donations in his memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation, 300 Prince Philip Drive, St. John’s, NL A1B 3V6 or to donate on line visit www.janewayfoundation.nf.ca.
