JOHNSON, Gerald - Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, Gerald Johnson of Gull Island, age 60 years. Predeceased by parents: John and Julia; brother: Patrick. Leaving to mourn, two brothers: Michael (Rose Coish) and Anthony (Kim Yetman), both of Gull Island; two sisters: Theresa Traverse (Dave Traverse), Small Point and Elizabeth Johnson (Louis Perry), Gull Island; special sisters-in-law: Judy Johnson, Western Bay and Joan Johnson, St. John's; nieces and nephews: Julie Lynn, Yvonne, Diane, Stephanie, Jessica, Amanda, Scott, Julie Ann and Josh; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Gerald Johnson Memorial Fund. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. daily.
