Passed suddenly away at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Sunday, March 29, 2015, Pleamon Hopkins of Bay de Verde, age 73 years. Predeceased by daughter: Lynne Marie, parents: George and Julia, brothers: Wilfred and Walter, sister: Florence. Leaving to mourn, wife: Marion; two daughters: Rona (Clark) Bickford, Paradise and Roxanne (Kenneth) Flight, Small Point; three grandchildren: Scott, Danielle and Abigail; three sisters: Marjorie Emberley, Bay de Verde, Robie (Lloyd) Eddy, Sibley’s Cove and Rose (Doug) Hyde, Shoal Harbour; and also a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Thursday 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Inurnment to take place at a later date.
