(July 20, 1932 – April 1, 2015) Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, George G. Warren of Carbonear; formerly of New Perlican, age 82 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Mary; infant sister: Lucy; brothers: Cecil, Ernest and Walter. Leaving to mourn, wife: Elizabeth 'Betty'; daughter: Gale (Cory) Giles, St. John’s; son: Chesley (Karen), Paradise; two grandchildren: Addyson and Joshua; brother: James, Gander; sisters-in-law: Susan 'Susie' Smith, New Perlican, Joan Warren, St. John’s and Ruth Kenny, Halifax, NS; brother-in-law: Chesley Dowden, St. John’s; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, April 6 at 2:30 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
