Dear Keith and Karen,
I'm very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I did not realize it at the time so I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to give my condolences to you in person. Of course I remember your dad and mom fondly from our childhood in Kilbride and your house on Elliot's Lane where I spent many a day. Please give my condolences to your families as well.
Sincerely,
John Guzzwell

To Andy's family
My condolences to you all.
He was a wonderful man. A faithful brother knight of my dad's (Ern Walsh). They also shared some stories & prayers at Callingwood Downs where they both resided.
I myself had a lot of chats with him & lots of dances at Callingwood. He was a true Gentle Man. I'm sure they are together again
In a well deserved eternal home. RIP Andy

On behalf of myself and family I would like to offer my sincere sympathy to Andy's
family. When Andy lived in Georgetown I use to speak to Andy when I went around
long pond for a walk, he was such a fine gentleman. He was involved with the Church
and I know he was one of the main people involved with the restoration of our bell for
our Church. I visited Andy when I went to the home to visit my Aunts, the last time I
spoke with Andy was Easter Monday afternoon we had a lovely chat. My Dad was
a friend of Andy's. Take care and God Bless.

It is with great sadness I learned of andies passing. I knew Andy since childhood when he had a cabin in georgestown. His last place was directly across the street from my parents( Jordan and Eileen). I live in Vancouver now but when I come home Andy was one of the first people I visited. He was that great a friend and very important to me and my family. I was so happy to see him at my brothers wedding last summer
Always smiling and very happy to visit he will be truly missed by me and my wife.
Condolences to his family and friends
Andy you were one of a kind R.iP. My dear friend

So sorry to hear of Andy's passing. He was a huge part of Georgetown and we considered him a part of the family. From a small child Andy is in our memories from jumping off his wharf in the summer to gliding of it in the winter. His stories and presence will surely be missed. Thanks for being a great friend to our parents, a great neighbour and family member. You will be missed! XO

Our sincere condolences to the family. We are the couple who purchased his home in Georgetown a few years ago and were very impressed with his vitality and his love for being outside , "doing something ".Missed seeing him at Callingwood in the past couple of weeks. My mom , who also resides there, told me he wasn't well. He was always friendly and approachable, and I'm sure will be missed at the home and every where else.

Keith -Karen and family .
Andy was a very engaging and generous person .He was quite proud of his family and his Newfoundland heritage . He truly enjoyed his participation in the Knights of Columbus and made significant contributions to the Fraternity . On the road of his life Andy made many friends- and in his day and generation- he did make a difference . He will live on in the hearts and minds of his family and multitude of friends . As a person of Faith I am confident he was prepared for the next phase of his journey . May his eternal rest be in peace .

sorry about your loss, while reading the obit I think of northern bay-the twine loft-the baseball games in the back of uncle Andy's home overlooking the beautiful view of northern bay sands and the music and the laughter-the crowd is getting thinner and the memories are cherished-my heart goes to all today
