Obituary of G. Embry Hudson

(March 12, 1939 – May 11, 2015) Passed away in the presence of his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2015, G. Embry Hudson of Adam's Cove, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents: Wilson and Belle; brother-in-law: Guy Crummey. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 53 years, Dorothy; daughter: Debby (Jim) Meaney, St. John’s; son: Barry (Tammy), St. John’s; son by choice: Ronnie Dawson, Ontario; five grandchildren: Robyn, Zachary, Meredith, Isabella and Isaiah; brother: Wayne (Verna) Hudson, Mount Pearl; three sisters: Ruby (Steve) Homer, Ajax, Ontario, Yvonne Crummey, Gander and Pearl (Garry) Rose, Western Bay; also a large number of special nieces and nephews; as well as a large circle of other relatives and special friends. At Embry’s request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Friday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Inurnment in the United Cemetery, Blackhead. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
