Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, Leone Parsons of Salmon Cove, age 81 years. Predeceased by husband: John N. and step-sister: Jean (Gerald) Churchill. Leaving to mourn, foster son: Jim Parsons, Clarkes Beach; step-daughter: Donna (George) Pryor, Victoria; step-grandchildren: Dion (Jenny) and Kristy (Monty); four step-great-grandchildren; brother: Edwin LeGrow, Kelligrews; half-brother: Carl (Marilyn) LeGrow, St. John’s; sister: Jean (Frank) Bartlett, Dartmouth, NS; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Eli and Stella Parsons, Salmon Cove and also special nephew and niece, Hubert and Helen Parsons, Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, July 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, July 18 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Inurnment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Riverside United Church, P.O. Box 250, Salmon Cove, NL, A0A 3S0.
