Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, July 17th 2015, Patrick Edward Oliver of Gull Island, age 73 years. Predeceased by his parents: Patrick and Sarah Ann, sisters: Laura, Elizabeth, Clara, Mary Margaret and Philomenia, as well as two infant brothers. Leaving to mourn, his daughters: Rochelle (Terry) McCarthy, Patti (Stefan) Backs, Giselle (Jason) Sharp and their mother, Marilyn Cofield; six grandchildren: Nicole, Mitchell, Hannah, Heidi, Ivy and Vaughan; one brother: James (Rose); brother-in-law: Richard Scott; also many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, July 20 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Inurnment to be held at a later date at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.
