Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, Alma B. Pike of Lower Island Cove, age 83 years. Predeceased by sons: Raymond and David, parents: Charles and Janet Wheeler, sister: Dottie Blanche and infant brother: John. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Linda Brodie and husband Keith, Mississauga, ON; son: John and wife Joanne, Montreal, PQ; six grandchildren: Michael and wife Susan, Lisa, Cynthia and husband George, Christopher, Jonathan and Natasha; seven great-grandchildren: Zoe, Braydon, Hannah, Dustin, Kasandra, Brooklyn and T.J. ; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove on Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, P.O. Box 55, Lower Island Cove, NL, A0A 2W0.
