Obituary of Baxter E. Butt

(August 5, 1940 – December 8, 2015) Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, Baxter E. Butt of Carbonear, age 75 years. Predeceased by parents: Andrew and Annie. Leaving to mourn, wife: Audrey; two daughters: Sherry Butt (Maurice Lahey), Labrador City and Peggy (Donald) Bone, Oshawa, ON; one son: Darrell (Khristina) Butt, Labrador City; eight grandchildren: Sheldon, Justin, Jonathan, Nicholas, Andrea, Brandon, Paula and Nolan; one brother: Walter (Elaine), Carbonear; three sisters: Clara (Tom) Thompson, Rhoda Island, NY, Joan (William) Kelloway, Salmon Cove and Ina (Alfred) Clarke, Victoria; special nieces: Minnie and Shirley; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear South.
