BUTT, Harry - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, October 18, 2012, Harry Butt of Carbonear formerly of Swift Current, age 88 years. Predeceased by parents: Kenneth and Cecilia Butt; sisters: Eileen, Jean and Doris. Leaving to mourn, wife: Viola; one daughter: Betty (Stanley) Evans, Swift Current; one son: Spencer (Jacqueline), St. John's; four grandchildren: Paul (Carla), Suzanne (Kerri), Kenneth and Brittany; four great-grandchildren: Jenna, Sarah, Evan and Kaitlyn; two brothers: Chancey (Nellie) and Norman (Earla), both of Swift Current; one sister: Marjorie, California; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the United Church, Swift Current on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Swift Current. Inurnment in the United Cemetery, Swift Current. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Church, Swift Current, P.O. Box 400, Arnold's Cove, A0B 1A0.
