August 16, 1946 - March 29, 2016 Passed peacefully but suddenly away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, William 'Bill' Farrell of Harbour Grace, age 69 years. Predeceased by wife: Verna; parents: James and Gertrude; brothers: Kevin and Steve; sister: Carmel. Leaving to mourn, son: Sheldon (Jennifer), Shearstown; two brothers: Ben (Catherine) and Mike (Marilyn), both of Harbour Grace; three sisters: Pauline Zbitnew, Ontario, Agnes Bishop and Lorraine Hiscock, both of Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Thursday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, April 1 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Inurnment in the United Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation, 31 Peet Street, St. John’s, NL, A1B 3P8 or online at childrenswish.ca.
