MAHANEY, Pauline- Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Thursday, November 1, 2007, Pauline Mahaney of Carbonear, age 53 years. Predeceased by husband: Clyde; parents: Thomas and Mary Clarke; brothers: David, Tony, Leonard and Martin. Leaving to mourn: one brother: Lawrence (Gail), North River; four sisters: Trudy Emmanuel, Texas, USA, Bernice Clarke (Fred Murphy), Carbonear, Mary (Edward) Murray, Mount Pearl and Paula (David) Solan, Texas, USA; brother-in-law: Marwood (Roberta) Butt, Freshwater, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Rose (Dave) Duke, Mary Clarke and Maxine Clarke, all of Carbonear and Doris Clarke, Upper Island Cove; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR on Monday, November 5 after 11:00 a.m. and from where the funeral will take place on Wednesday, November 7 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear.
