September 8, 1937 - April 5, 2016 Passed peacefully away at Luxury Estates, Carbonear on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, Mark Delaney of Stephenville; formerly of Gull Island, age 78 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Mary Delaney; step-mother: Mary; brothers: Patrick, James, Richard and Will Joe; sisters: Mary and Hannah. Leaving to mourn, sister-in-law: Dorothy Delaney, Mount Pearl; special friends: Pat and Joanne Merrigan, Carbonear; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay on Wednesday, 2:30 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, April 7 at 2:30 p.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Northern Bay. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
