Obituary of Alexander F. Parsons

November 10, 1933 - April 6, 2016 Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at his residence on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, Alexander F. ‘Sandy’ Parsons of Harbour Grace, age 82 years. Predeceased by parents: Fred and Helina; sisters: Sidney (Moss) and Mary (Bill). Leaving to mourn, wife: Alice; three daughters: Diane (Darrell) Parsons, Bay Roberts; Alexandra (Carl), Mississauga, ON and Kim (Gene), Harbour Grace; three sons: Kenneth (Yvonne) and John (Michelle), both of Harbour Grace and Wayne (Wanda), Brigus; ten grandchildren: Christopher, Cassandra, Andrew, Natasha, Danielle, Sarah, Brandon, Alicia, Kersten and Alex; two great-grandchildren: MacKenzie and Bentley; one sister: Florence Oake, Florida; very special family friend: Denise Parsons, Carbonear; sisters-in-law: Shirley Evely (George), Carbonear and Betty Forward, Topsail; brother-in-law: James (Lil) Forward, Mount Pearl; special homecare workers: Elsie Paynter, Lorna Carpenter and Sue Harvey, all of Carbonear, Bev Pike, Bryant’s Cove and Marcella Pike, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace.
