Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, Frances H. ‘Fannie’ Slade of Perry’s Cove, age 70 years. Predeceased by husband: Robert; parents: Clarence and Evelyn Butt; brother: Walter. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Wanda (Roland) Parsons, Salmon Cove; one son: Frank, Salmon Cove; three grandsons: Adam, Adrian and Ryan; one sister: Ursula King, Carbonear; brothers-in-law: Ronald (Mary) Slade and Randy (Joan) Slade, both of Salmon Cove and Warrick (Bertha, deceased) Reynolds, Perry’s Cove; sister-in-law: Sandra (Jim) Reynolds, Salmon Cove; aunts: Jean Pardy, St. John’s and Myrtle Nolan, CBS; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Thursday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Friday, July 1 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Perry’s Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Frances H. Slade Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Homes, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
