O'BRIEN, Joanne B. (nee Doran) - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, October 25, 2012, Joanne B. O'Brien of Harbour Grace, age 56 years. Predeceased by grandparents: Richard and Angela Doran; aunt: Julia Lewis; father-in-law: Ronald O'Brien; sister-in-law: Aileen O'Brien-Beaucage. Leaving to mourn, husband: Sean; two daughters: Cara O'Brien (Robert), Paradise and Caitlin O'Brien (Michael), Harbour Grace; one son: Seamus O'Brien, Harbour Grace; mother: Anne Doran, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; mother-in-law: Mary O'Brien, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; brother-in-law: Erin O'Brien, Grand Falls-Windsor; also a large number of supportive relatives and friends. A very special thanks to Dr. David Saltman of the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, St. John's. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace with visitation by request of the family on Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, October 29 at 11:00 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Project Restoration Fund c/o Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, PO Box 299, Harbour Grace, NL A0A 2M0
