Passed away surrounded by family and friends at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, Vera Sheehan of Harbour Grace, age 67 years. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Anne McGrath; very special grandparents: Patrick and Ellen Fitzpatrick. Leaving to mourn, husband: John; one daughter: Mary Ann Sheehan, Harbour Grace; one son: John Sheehan (Sherry), Harbour Grace; four grandchildren: Tyler, Annabelle, Jacob and Ethan; one great-granddaughter: Lily; two brothers: Joe (Doreen) McGrath, BC and Kevin (Marilyn) McGrath, Harbour Grace; one sister: Regina (Dave) Powell, Bay Roberts; special aunts: Mary Brien and Pat (Jack) Murphy; special uncle: Jim Fitzpatrick and special LeMarchant Street Family; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Wednesday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday, August 12 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1037 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl, NL, A1N 5E9 on line, heartandstroke.ca
