July 21, 1949 to August 20, 2016 Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Saturday, August 20, 2016, Marina A. Power of Bay de Verde, age 67 years. Predeceased by, son: Glenn Joseph; parents: William and Alice Walsh; father-in-law: Ronald Power. Leaving to mourn, husband of 48 years: Dave; four daughters: Noeleen (Corey) d'Entremont, Mt. Pearl, Allison (Geoff) Strong, Clarenville, Brenda (John) Mcloughlin, and Patricia (Jason) Lambert, both of Paradise; one son: David, Caplin Cove; nine grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, Devin, Peter, Emily, Andrew, Megan, Noah, and Paityn; one brother: Mark Walsh, Bay de Verde; two sisters: Margaret Rice, Lower Island Cove and Gertie (Stan) Walsh, Bay de Verde; mother-in-law: Evelyn Power, Old Perlican; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Monday, 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; then resting at Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde on Tuesday, 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, August 24 at 10:00 a.m. from Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde.
