Jackman, Alice " Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, Alice Jackman of Bell Island, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Daniel; parents: James and Maryann Hunt; brother: Tom; infant brother: William; sister: Agnes and infant sister: Janie. sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Hunt and Mary Hunt; brothers-in-law: Malcolm Whalen, Mac MacGregor and John Cinotti. Leaving to mourn two sisters: Marguerite MacGregor, Ontario and Mary Whalen, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; one brother: Mose Hunt, Harbour Grace; special friends: Joan (Peter) Kent, Bell Island; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends of Harbour Grace and Bell Island. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Wednesday, Nov 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Then resting at Pendergast Funeral Home, Bell Island on Thursday, Nov. 15 from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 16 from 11:00 a.m. 12:00 noon. Mass to take place at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Bell Island. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bell Island. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
